“The lips of fools bring them strife, and their mouths invite a beating. The mouths of fools are their undoing, and their lips are a snare to their very lives.” Proverbs 18:6-7
Toledo is in the northern part of the state of Ohio. It’s near Lake Erie and close to the Canadian Border. Dayton, Ohio is farther south and does not touch or border any of the Great Lakes.
They are different places with different people and different problems. The greatest difference is the town of Dayton was ravaged by a mass shooting. While I am certain the people of Toledo appreciate our President’s well wishes, you would think he could at least get the name of the town right. The difference between knowing and leading a country versus taking advantage of a television publicity opportunity is to at least get the name of the town straight. Then, you could actually care enough to DO SOMETHING.
The difference between those who support our President and those who don’t is the ones who do will overlook the slip of tongue. The ones who don’t won’t. The majority will carry on as if nothing ever happened. At all.
