“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
All the stars will shine brighter tonight
As Heaven celebrates another life.
While many see death as the final call,
Death is simply transitional.
We move from this life to eternity;
Where everything is known,
And everything is seen.
We see God, but more importantly
He sees us on bended knee.
The greatest gift that we can give
Is to show others Christ by how we live.
We cannot be perfect – He understands!
We can choose to share Christ
With our fellow man.
Sometimes, I close my eyes and try to visualize
How it will be when I die.
Death does not scare me.
It is a gift.
God will judge us
Based on how we live.
Whether we chose Him or chose to live
As if God in Heaven does not exist.
For those of us who claim His name,
We will stand before Him as He proudly claims,
“Come in, My child, I’ve waited for you.
Everything you’ve read and believed is true!”
The world lies to us and tries to deny
That there is a God and that there was a Christ.
For our children, the battle rages.
The world debates “sin” and its wages.
God says, “The wages of sin are certainly death.”
But, in Jesus Christ, we will find rest.
We can live securely knowing He sees
How our faith plays out and what we claim to believe.
For me, death is not the final call
Because I proudly claim,
“He is my All in All!”
I realize now it doesn’t make sense.
Understanding our choices in life and how we exist.
Consider now we only see part of the story.
When we stand before Him,
We will see more fully.
