Lying is ugly and ugly is mean...
We have a truth problem in America and it doesn’t just affect our media. While lies in the media are common place, I am beginning to realize that lies within the church community are just as common.
The most recent case in point is the rumor that the state of New York and NYC, in particular, “hates Chic-fil-A because they make Christians out of people.” That would be a lie.
As you can tell from the picture attached to this blog, Chic-fil-A in NYC is alive and well. In fact, most are multi-storied and there are certainly more than just one. Christians can work there, and heathens can eat there. End of lie.
Then, of course, there are the ongoing lies that Trump saved Christmas. You know….Obama, the Muslim, never said, “Merry Christmas” because he ran a conspiracy to shut down Christ’s birthday in America.

To be people of Truth, we sure buy into lies, don't we? We soak them in and we spew them out. While His Word should guide our thoughts, lies seem to lead us.
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11
My mom used to say, “The more lies you tell, the less people will believe you.” I think the reverse holds true. The more Truth we tell, the less we will believe lying people.
