It's that day of the year!

Thanksgiving Day is an opportunity for us to express our sincerest gratitude to people who love and care for us. My preferred way of expressing my gratitude is to say it through a visit. With the distance that separates me from my family and friends, I am sometimes forced to express my gratitude through social media.

While there are a lot of Thanksgiving Day greetings being sent, I would like to take this time to say to one and all that I am thinking of each and every one of you. I would also like to thank God as we remind ourselves of how great and wonderful our God truly is - always. My family has reaped the glorious benefits of His mercy all year long.

This Thanksgiving and in the year ahead, I will sing, pray, and thank God simply for who He is and not just what He does for me. In the words found in the Book of Revelation, “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign.” (Revelation 11:17)
