Spiritual Arithmetic

If you haven’t read my blog until now and do not plan on reading it again in the future, I pray that you will read today’s. I believe there are two very important truths that I am being prompted to share with you:

First, God loves you. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, what country you live in, which religion you practice or regardless of whether you practice any faith at all – God still loves you. When Jesus said, “For God so loved the world,” He meant it. God loves all the people in the world. Surprisingly, people don’t even have to love God. God loves anyway.

Secondly, God wants to forgive you. If you are feeling a heavy burden from mistakes and past offenses, the good news is God wants to forgive you. However, you must embrace Him for who He is and you must ask for His forgiveness. In order to do so, you must come to Him in full belief. The tri-personality of God reveals God as Father, Jesus as Son, and the Holy Spirt as the connector to the other two. The Bible teaches, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and He is just. He will forgive our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” If you want this kind of life-changing transformation, believe and ask.

I realize not everyone believes. I realize not everyone wants to believe, but I also understand the power of God through His Holy Spirit. If we are willing to open our hearts and open our spiritual eyes, all we have to do is call Him by name and He will respond.

The sum of faith is 1 (God loves you) + 1 (He is ready to forgive you) = 2 (You in a loving, lasting relationship with the Creator of our universe).

It all adds up. I know. I live it.
